• Worship of Clay Bullocks: On this day, people install beautifully crafted pairs of clay bullocks (called Mannina Ettu) in their pooja rooms. These idols are decorated with turmeric, vermillion, and flowers before offering prayers.
• Special Offerings: Traditional sweets like Kadabu and Holige are prepared and offered as naiveidya to the deities.
• Rest for Livestock: Farmers wash and decorate their live cattle, applying colors to their horns. Crucially, the bullocks are given complete rest from field work on this day as a mark of respect.
