Massive Land Scam in Bengaluru: ₹100 Crore Govt Land Illegally Mutated to Private Parties; Lokayukta Complaint Filed Against Corrupt Officials! Bengaluru Government Land Scam

Bengaluru Government Land Scam ; Bengaluru: A major land scandal has come to light in the Yeshwanthpur assembly constituency, where prime government property worth crores has been illegally transferred to private individuals, bypassing all land revenue laws. A formal complaint backed by extensive documentary evidence has been lodged with the Lokayukta.

The scam was exposed by Ramesh N. R., former Leader of the Raining Party in BBMP and President of the Anti-Corruption Forum.

The ₹100 Crore Land Fraud:

According to the complaint, Survey No. 158 in Kurubarahalli village, Tavarekere Hobli, Bengaluru South Taluk, spanning 130.29 acres, is classified entirely as “Government Gomal Land” (grazing land). The total market value of this land exceeds ₹800 crores. Shockingly, corrupt officials have illegally sub-divided and mutated 10 acres and 20 guntas (10:20 acres) of this pristine government land, valued at over ₹100 crores, into the names of private individuals using forged documents.

The illegal transfer violates provisions of “The Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964” and the strict directives of the A. T. Ramaswamy Commission report. Key officials named in the scam include former Special Tehsildar Krishnamurthy, Revenue Inspector Monish, Village Accountant Nanjegowda, DDLR Sujay, and Magadi Planning Authority Chairman Prakash. They allegedly accepted massive bribes to facilitate the illegal entries for an influential individual, Radha Balakrishna, and others.
